Will win the national title if… the Mountaineers continue to shoot the ball from the outside like they did during an upset win over Kentucky, when WVU connected on 10-of-23 from downtown while holding the Cats to just 4-of-32 shooting from 3-point range. Coach Bob Huggins’ club must also play the type of suffocating defense that it has all season.
Will lose to Duke on Saturday if… the Blue Devils’ guards, Scheyer and Smith, are able to control the tempo against the Mountaineers — who may or may not be without injured guard Darryl Bryant. Athletic forwards Da’Sean Butler and Devin Ebanks will have to pick up the slack for WVU on the wing regardless of Truck’s availability in the backcourt.
